Have your say on the NT's Gamba plan
Over the past few years, the NT Government have invested in programs designed to tackle the dangerous Gamba infestations in the Top End.
They put forward the Weed Management Plan for Gamba Grass 2020-2030 which aims to reduce and eliminate gamba grass in the NT. They also funded the Gamba Army, which supported landholders to eradicate more Gamba across the territory.
Right now, the NT Government is asking the community to provide feedback on how we think the Gamba plan is (or isn’t) working. This is your chance to have your say.
It’s important that they hear directly from people who are dealing with Gamba on the ground, and know only too well what’s needed to tackle the issue once and for all. We know that if we are to achieve this, the Gamba plan must be fully implemented, funded and improved.
