Tackle Gamba in our National Parks
Have your say on the NT Parks Master Plan
Have your say on our National Parks Master Plan
Right now, the NT Government is asking Territorians to have their say on how our National Parks are managed – now and into the future. They’re developing a Parks Master Plan – the blueprint for how we look after and protect our National Parks.
This plan can be a transformative moment for our much-loved and visited Territory Parks – but that’s only possible if it’s driven by people like you from the start.
Places like Litchfield National Park – an icon right on our doorstep – are a haven for locals and tourists alike. But Litchfield is facing a massive threat – the spread of Gamba grass is threatening tourism, public safety, park infrastructure and the landscapes that make the park so special.
It’s up to all of us to make sure that this plan adequately addresses key issues facing our Parks – like further investments and focus on tackling the spread of Gamba before it’s too late.
What is it that makes places like Litchfield so special to you? What do you think the Territory Government should do to secure a healthy future for our iconic parks?
